Another Ag in Motion is in the books, and what a show it was for the Mojow team. From July 21–23, we joined thousands of farmers, researchers, and Ag tech innovators at Innovation Acres in Langham, Saskatchewan for Western Canada's largest outdoor farm expo. This year we brought our autonomous technology to the field in a way attendees could actually experience for themselves.

Autonomous Spraying, Live in the Field
Working alongside our partners at Agrifac, Mojow demonstrated its autonomous technology on the Agrifac self-propelled sprayer as part of the show's Sprayer Ride and Drive. Rather than just talking about what our technology can do, we let the machine do the talking by running real coverage passes across the field and completely automated headland turns, with farmers riding along in the sprayer for the full experience.
Over the course of the three-day show, more than 25 farmers climbed aboard for a ride in the fully autonomous sprayer. For many, it was their first time seeing this kind of technology operate up close, and the reaction was exactly what we hoped for.

What Farmers Noticed
Two things came up again and again in conversations at the booth and in the cab :
The speed and steering control throughout the headland corners were extra smooth. Headland turns are paramount importance for an autonomous sprayer system - tight, precise and without hesitation. Farmers riding along noted how smoothly the sprayer handled these turns, without the jerkiness or overcorrection you might expect from a human operator who had been working long hours.
Switching between autonomous and manual mode felt seamless. Trust in autonomous technology often comes down to control and knowing you can take the wheel back instantly if you need to. Riders consistently pointed out how smooth and easy the transition was in both directions, from autonomous to manual operation and back again, reinforcing that the operator is always fully in control.
Why It Mattered
Ag in Motion is a great a opportunity to put technology in front of the people who will actually use it, on equipment they already know and trust. Demonstrating our autonomous system on the Agrifac sprayer gave farmers something more valuable than a pitch : a first-hand ride.
That kind of hands-on experience is exactly how Mojow believes autonomous technology earns its place on Canadian farms.
Looking Ahead
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, and took a seat in the cab. Your feedback is exactly the kind of insight that shapes what we build next.
We're already looking forward to bringing more of this technology to the field for next year's show. In the meantime, if you missed us at Ag in Motion and want to see the autonomous sprayer for yourself, reach out to our team at info@mojow.ai.
